V. Pachara Delight 'Deep Blue'
Here is a recent remake of Pachara delight which are supposed to be even deeper in colour. We got the first batch out of Thailand in October and they went like hot bread at the November plant sale last year. As you know these flower at a small size taking from V. Coerulea, and this baby has flowered for the second time with 7 lovely dark and flat flowers; about 5 inches across. I must admit I am surprised at the flower size at this stage and very impressed with the colour and flower shape.
Pachara Delight is probably my favorite of all the hanging vandas and of the blues. The colour on this new clone is electric.
Enjoy

can't wait to see a pachara delight flower in person. I have a blooming size now and can't wait to see the blooms. I have the sakate cultivar. This is stunning! and the flowers are enormous!

Sakate from what I've seen looks to really deliver that wow factor. I would love one for myself as well. I have 'Isabella', 'Pachara', and 'Deep Blue' cultivars. All of which have won awards, an AM, FCC, and AM respectively. I would love to add 'Sakate' to my collection!
Do share photos when you get it blooming.

I would definitely post pics once it blooms. It will go out very soon once it gets a little more warmer. You just made me more excited about it! My coerulea is almost opening now and I will post it soon. I bought it in bud. Can't wait to see if I have the "wild form" or the line bred ones. Either way, I'm sure I would love it!

The new line bred coeruleas excite me when it comes to hybridization. I am eager to remake some of the first hybrids with the new improved larger and flatter and more intense blue coeruleas.
