Hydrogen Peroxide can be useful, if you want to stay away from chemicals or use them only as a last resort.

I would love to try. How would you administer it? Swabbed on? Sprayed? What percentage solution? I got rid of mold on my bathroom caulk! Why did I not think of this possible remedy?

I just use the stuff from the drugstore- it comes in spray or bottle. The spray is easier to use. After it finished foaming, make sure you wipe it out of any crowns as it can cause crown rot, like water does, if left to sit.
