This is really a very elegant looking flower. These guys don't take off blooming until they are of significant height and are swaying in the breeze quite a bit above its point of anchor. These flowers really do look like butterflies in the wind.
This is a unusual and unique form of the 'Bhutan' variety as the lip and throat are a rich golden yellow and the flowers are really quite large which is very uncommon and extremely rare. The terete leaves are very nice and thick and the plant grows very erect and looks very neat in a bed of orchids. Once they start blooming its really hard to stop them.
Enjoy.
