This is not blue even by "orchid blue" standard. Violet I would say.

Well I wouldn't suggest a standard for orchid blue, because what is called black or, blue black in orchids is a deep purple.

Its way cooler now in the days w/ christmas breezes, but the sun gets hot in the days sometimes so I still do, but I water earlier in the afternoons now...mostly to fertilize.
