My first vanda blooming!!!

This is my first vanda spike. Five months ago I began growing vandas and I feel that they are comfortable with my care schedule. Woow, the spike grows so fast!!! Next Monday will be four weeks since I saw the spike sprouting. A thing that really amaze me are the bud bracts, very interesting!!! Is it common? I suppose there is something "sweet" on the spike because there are 3 or 4 ants (no prob they aren´t harmful) always enjoying it

.
