Default growing vandas in my back yard

I grow my vandas hanging from the veranda, but looking to hang or mount them in a feature tree in the back garden.
Anyone have any suggestions on a good type of tree to mount them in? I was thinking maybe a frangipani tree.

My climate is subtropical, on the gold coast, Queensland, east coast of Australia

Look up evergreen trees and look for ones that meet your requirements in terms of shade and size when full grown etc.
Also Oak trees tend to do well with most orchids for mounting. Open canopy trees are best, and Palm trees are a good choice in a subtropical climate. Look for trees with a rough bark that support good root attachment. Mango and Avocado trees are also good as well.
