Ascocenda in Bloom
This compact Ascda. is a keiki from my mum and dad's original plant that they've had since the late 80's, early 90's. I'm not sure on the actual cross but I'm reminded somewhat of Ascocenda dong tarn 'robert'.
The flowers are nearly always perfectly uniform with one another and have a slightly glistening texture to them. The photograph below was taken in overcast conditions.
This grows in full sun and is a prolific bloomer. I've always had problems getting the plant to keep its lower leaves probably on it being in full sun but other than that, it always seems pretty happy. I've had this particulalr plant for about 6 years, is a slow grower.

IMO, you remember correctly. This is Ascda Dong Tarn 'Robert'. Very nicely done also.
