Looks like crownfox gem 'Mardis gras' as well. well eithere way its too small to be Laksi.

Roll on red has glossy flowers. I don't think that's it.
I think it is an asco.

well that brings it down two possibilities and you can see the flowers up close and person so you can be the judge now.

It looks the most like Ruby Red 'Gem' to me. It has the correct shape/color/etc

I think it can be an ascocenda Laksi...something. I have a Laksi Liang that looks pretty similar to this one, just a bit more lilac on the lip, if I remember correctly. It's in bloom right now. I'll try to take a couple of pictures and we can compare them.

Right. I promised some pictures of my flowering Ascocenda Laksi Liang, and here they are.

I struggled with the colours. It was bad light and I just did not manage to capture the red colour in a good way, but it gives you a pretty good idea, I hope.
