Default Ronnyara-- anyone care to tackle this one?

I had to do a little searching to find out what Rnya. stood for. Haven't run across Ronnyara before. Found out it's Aerides x Ascocentrum x Rhynchostylis x Vanda.

I have no experience with any of the above and appreciate your thoughts on caring for this one.

It's a Ronnyara Snowflakes in a 5 or 6" clay pot in lava rock. Plant is about 8" tall with leaves 6-7" long. I'd say it has about 10 leaves on it and one long, healthy root. When it was repotted in July, that was the only functional looking root on it. It has been outside until now, but temps are dropping so it will be grown under lights for the winter.

thank you!

Aerides are super easy to grow and fast-growing. I have two aerides in vanda baskets with red lava rock. I accidently left one (quinquevulnerum) out when it went down to freezing and it has recovered.
I have ascocentrum pumilum and it is extremely hardy and blooms sometimes twice a year even if I neglect it.
Vandas can vary...depends, there, but they seem tough.
Don't have any of the others.

They like a very fast-drying set up. I have the ascocentrum (it is a mini) mounted, the vanda and aerides in plastic vanda baskets with large chunks of lava rock. I water until the roots turn green, then let dry. Mine are not so fussy about being watered every day.

my vandas are in slotted wooden vanda baskets get full indirect sun almost every day, with a little bit of moss in there to stabilize it. Mine get slight watering every day but we are still having 90* weather....So I am not so sure if this is to helpful to you or not.
