A commercial grower and friend of my had a few of these and thought I might like them so she gave me one. I lost some buds due to pest that she sprayed for prior to her giving me and probably also due to moving from a shade house environment to natural dappled light in my "vanda" tree.
This is very reminiscent of the alba form of Coerulea, although I believe it is even more white than Coerulea, so naturally I fell in love.
When i say pristine white, i literally mean crystalline blooms that to my surprise get very big; up to 5 inches across and almost 6 inches from dorsal sepal to base sepals. I only got 4 blooms this time but that's fine, just can't wait to get a full spike of flowers next time around with more blooms! Just love those twisted petals; makes them look like angels.
The plant itself is quite young and has very neat/compact leaves. I look forward to many more spikes.
Enjoy
