Thanks. will try that. and here i was thinking that doing that would over fertilize the plant. The best way to fertilize orchids are to mist the leaves right? No root application based on the state of my plant?

I use the tropigro orchid plus or orchid growth pluss.
You are watering the roots not the leaves. Just make sure your roots/medium dries before your next watering.
And once again, I think the pot that it is in is too big, so medium will tend to stay too damp deep in the pot.

You can grow just like Vanda. Mokara is (Arachnis x Vanda x Ascocentrum) so any combination of these 3 make Mokara. Generally the first generation resemble more like Arachnis and take pretty much full sun. Any sub-sequence generation usually stay more compact and do well with less light.
