"blooming" is overrated in my opinion. Your post of healthy plants with great info is more useful than other post with photos of flowers without any info.

moderate or medium light is less than Cattleya lighting....my Mokaras and some Vandas get direct sun, cool Vandas, Oncidiums, Dendrobiums, Phrags and Cattleyas get bright shaded light the rest get medium light as my Phals, Paphs and Masdies.
but my grow zone and environment must be taken into consideration....Florida and California will have a stronger direct sun than where I am.
*blooms are proof of your success as an orchid grower. if you cant flower a plant much less rebloom it; then there is no point in having orchids....it is your crowning glory to have your plants give you flowers....it means the orchids love you back.

*my photos are always taken outdoors= I need to use flash if I take pictures indoors and this photo-shoot was on the ground floor at the back of my building where the dumpsters are.
the sky background ones are taken on the topmost floor where we are allowed to b-b-q....I live in a Bauhaus building(1930's) in the East Village of Manhattan....
