Thank you for the nice comments everybody.
WhiteRabbit, it is a cross between Vanda tessellata and Rynchostylis gigantea, so no neo in it. Fragrance is very nice and strong. I really like it. |

Thanks!
Here are some pics without using flash, the color is a bit closer to reality: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wTD7cQy3SI...d_sri_siam.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SL_VpypXgi..._sri_siam2.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3e4W6GeZ5t...00/vandas2.jpg |
You grow this plant so well, and I see from other photo you have a very nice grow area for Vandas. Have you thought of raising Neofinetia?
|
Thank you! I have one Neofinetia in there too. It is 'Shojo', I had it for over a year and just wanted to see if I can bloom them .
It is spiking now, at least top new growth on the picture looks like spike to me, so I will be buying more of them: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a3oQB3cNRe.../neo_shojo.jpg |
Gorgeous flowers!

That "shojo" is a beautiful plant too. YOU must post a picture in the Neonuts subforum, otherwise known as Vanda Alliance -- Neofinetia forum when this plant blooms. Your photography really displays your plants very well. I'm intrigued by this Neofinetia--great purple Tsuke and the leaves are so healthy green. I don't want to hijack this thread since your Vanda deserves all attention on it!!!
