Where can you buy Aerides orchids
Hello all , I have been looking for aerides orchids and can't seem to find any! There were a few on ebay but they were coming from far away and were very small. So, does anyone know. Where I can get any of these orchids? Or are they not found in the U.S. for sale? Thanks for any help!

I know Motes Orchids in Homestead, FL has some, but I don't know how you order from them.

DO NOT BUY THEM from Royal Orchid Club. They do have them, and I started the thread today about my order I received just today! the one orchid I was hoping to have the most came real bad!!! Not really good and reliable seller at all! I did check, unfortunately Andy's Orchids has none and Seattle orchids have 2 but they are sold out now. There is bunch of sellers on eBay who offers them now.

Hey Rico, Smiley's Orchids near Orlando had some large ones last time I was there but that was a few years ago. Clown Alley lists a couple for cheap on their website right now. I'd also check with various other species purveyors: Andy's, Carolina Orchids, Orchids Limited, Hausermann's, Santa Barbara Orchid Estate, Oak Hill Gardens, H&R, Kawamoto, Tropical Orchid Farm, etc. Orchid nurseries often have much more variety than they list on their websites, so calling or emailing is a good idea if you're looking for something specific. Good luck!

I was just considering ordering an A. odorata from Oak Hills. I haven't ordered from them before, but have heard nice things about them. They also have flabellata listed. Good hunting.

Did you speak/email with someone at these places or just check websites? Most establishments don't list their full inventories online.

True true, but since I did join now I think it is just too late to verify over the phone. If it can not be found anywhere else, I would definitely call, however I know for sure that Seattle has pretty much very immaculate inventory and what is online is what they have, what is not online or shows sold out was always sold out even I tried to call, which I did several times:-) Can not speak for other websites, where I always order what is online available:-) I found one in St. Petes:-)

Attend large orchids show. lol Aerides are very beautiful, but its not popular vanda plants so venders don't tend to carry them in large quantity. I found it attending show is the best way for finding odd and unusual species and plants.
