Like I said....you don't have them outside; meaning all year round, through all the seasons. That's why you will find you have never had an issue.

That could be. It's warm and dry here during the summer and very humid during the winter.

Trust me, you'd be surprised at how much of a difference it makes to grow outdoors. They are much more susceptible to nature and climate and weather and even all sorts of bugs.

It is quite content indoors when in bloom. But originally It is out in full sun with semi-teretes and mature aranda and mokara.

I imagine that in a warm climate that there would be a lot of pests. We get a few earwigs and scale, but not much else. I have to move mine around for the best light and provide lighting during our dark winters. If we had your climate I would have a lot more vandas!

I agree. I have been visualizing this for years. I would settle for a sun room. In the mean time, more lighting!
