The tallest plant i have ever seen is just grown outdoor under full sun. Here most people grow their plants under partial shade.

Cool, that's what I need, I am looking actually for the vandas that can stand full speed late afternoon sun from 3pm till sunset. This one would be great, just don't know where to get it here in the USA:-)))

I need one's that can take 20 c to 40 c during the day and 11 c at night. Quite a different climate here!

I see, not sure which one can work in this climate but there are so many orchids in need for that temperature drop between the day and night, good luck to find the one you need.

Some of the modern vanda hybrids are pretty tolerant.
My Pachong blue vanda and the Suksamran asco both have no problem with these temps. As long as they get their sunshine they are pretty happy. Most of the cooler growing orchids do fairly well here, except that we are the hot spot on the island. They don't like 35 or 40 c
