I know it will be many years...I have seen how large these get. The wait will be well worth it.

Indeed, I don't think it will take many years to get very big. It is however sometimes a stubborn plant n may refuse to bloom for an entire year.

I do enjoy how fast they grow. It was a very tiny thing and now it is about the size of a neofinetia fan. Quite impressive. I don't need to worry yet about why it isn't blooming but that might make a good post someday if it is a meter and is still not gracing me with blooms. Thank you for posting yours. Very nice photo!

Just give it lots of sun when it's mature and give it a good amount of fertilizer and it will bloom.
