This is definitely one of my babies. Large plant with roots to kill; over 5 feet of healthy roots indeed! Blooms several times a year for me; I find that it usually bloom twice back to back with no break then takes like a month off from spiking. All together a very lovely show this one puts on with 6" flat blooms displayed tightly along the spike.
Enjoy, I definitely believe I will win something this year with this one.

Thanks so much! I am just as happy looking at these roots and how robust and healthy all the leaves are on this one.

Well it surely is a pleasing sight each day for me. I am currently experiencing the blooming of a Aerides Odorata now for the first time in my garden.

It smells absolutely delicious!
I can't wait to put up my pergola so I can hang vandas as specimen catts!
