Vanda Pachara Delight No. 2 'pink'

The other Pachara forms also possess the tessellations particularly the dark blue ones....the red have a lighter but this pink this time are more pronounced....

I think my pink NOID from HD is this variety. Is pink vanda common like the blue one?? I don't think so.

Anyways, so you keep your vanda in s/h during the winter and then grow them outside during the summer?
I see your pictures showing the roots are in water with clay balls.

Mine is still in the clear acrylic container it came with. There is no media but the plant is just sitting there in an empty container with tons of roots all around.
I mist the roots everyday if possible, and then soak the whole thing twice a week.
It is now pushing a new leaf. I hope to see it flower again.
It's rather too early to worry about, but I'm not sure what to do once the plant grows too tall to stay in this container. oh, well. that's at least one or two years from now. lol

-I saw the picture of your pink flower....Pachara Delight is mass produced not only the blue but there is a red, pink and dark purple grape (Vanda Pachara Delight 'black')
I am pretty sure your orchid is a Vanda Pachara Delight 'pink'.
Even if the flower shop lost its tag, the characteristics of it is the same as my orchid....the tessellations, the formation of the leaves and the lip are all identical.

-The clay pellets are immersed in water and the roots are elevated so as not to get wet and rot....but the humidity inside the glass is enhanced.

Humidity in the summers in New York is very high so I do not put water on the dish....
