Default V. Prao Sky Blue Dbl Spike

One of my favourites! Electric blue flowers that glow in the sunlight. Really hard to photograph and get the true colour though. Great tessellation and form. Surprised me on its third spiking with a dbl spike with 9 flowers each for a total of 18 lovely flowers. They are quite heavy but I couldn't think of a natural way to support the spike given the manner in which the plant has grown. Eventually it will turn and grow upright so no worries. Blooms are just over 4 inches across. I wanted to carry it to my local orchid society, but it was my first meeting so I wasn't sure of the procedure; boohoo.
Enjoy!

Wellllll.....I fertilize my vandas daily, and water daily, and mount, hang, and place them where they tell me they want to be.
I'm very observant of how they are affected by their environment, how much light/sun they get each day and I know where the sun rises in the mornings and sets all year round and the varying positions of the sun throughout the seasons. I guess I just allow them to be in a spot that is almost perfect and they have the added benefit of me feeding them plus the occasional rain.
