Default V. Hilo Rose
Had this one for year in a bed with some mokaras and other vanda and plants and it was actually growing under a flowering bush and I guess this is why it hadn't flowered for years but only has grown. I moved it and staked it in the bed where it now get full morning sun and good all day sunlight. It has a slight fragrance too; quite sweet smelling. I'm happy to see it is enjoying its new place in the garden. Finally after 3 aborted spikes I have 6 lovely blooms.

I can't really describe the scent but its a really sweet sugar/honey scent i guess i would say. All I know it smells lovely; not very strong scent but nice. Very vibrant and I just love the flower form.

Hot color! This is a terete type Vanda. Does it need stronger light that the strap leaf type vandas?

This is what you would call a semi-terete type vanda. Once old enough it like lots of bright light and are happy in full sun all day. Just don't forget to water.
