That's a reliable bloomer. However, the snails here also like its blooms. And hence i seldom see the blooms.
This year, while the spikes occured, I hung the plant independently. Therefore I am able to see the blooms.

It is for sure a very attractive species, I love it as well.
Was it previously listed as Aerides and separated from this Genera mainly due to terete leaves ?

I do not know why it changed to the genera. Now, in Taiwan, we still call it terete Aeride.
