Renanthera monachica

Bright and beautiful flowers.
These are endemic to the Philippines which is an equatorial zone....
They grow clinging on trees so you must give it a bit of media to cover the roots.
I have this exact orchid(look at my past thread) and I put a bed of coconut fiber at the bottom of the wooden basket as I anchored the roots to make the plant stable as I sprinkled around it large media mix composed of lava rock, bark, charcoal, hydroton and sponge rock.
