What's your favourite vanda in your collection?
Do you have a favourite vanda that either has amazing blooms, or likes to just bloom prolifically.
My favorite at the moment is my vanda tessellata 'Ernie'.
It doesn't look particularly amazing but has spiked about 3 times in the last 6 months and has a wonderful sweet scent.
Will post pics soon

I do love tessellata as well. My favorite in my collection would definitely be Vanda garayii (previously Ascocentrum garayii).

I like any nice large blue, but one that I had (no longer have it unfortunately) that I loved is Ascocenda Mikasa Princess White.
I attach two pictures from last summer.
Faintly scented in the mornign hours.
should have kept it. oh, well...

Ascda. Dong Tarn 'Red'. True the flowers aren't as big and 'oh wow' as the big vandas, but I've had this thing for near 20 years now, and it grows and blooms so well. Current bloom cycle has been since early October, though I don't see any new spikes starting ATM so maybe it'll take a break. I also like the roundness of the blooms, how many per spike, and the intense blood red of them.

Don't even know how i could choose. ATM i would have to say its a close race between Renanthera Philippinensis x Dr. Anek, Aranda Prapin Spot, Renanopsis Lion's Splendor, and Bangkok beauty. Omg even V. Robert's Delight 'Alexander'.

Vanda jennae, I'm completely addicted to this species since it has bloomed the first time at home...

I have two favorites. They both have large flowers and bloom frequently. Ascda. Macarena Iglesias (Raspberry red) and V. Pachara Delight 'Isabela' (blue/purple). They're both in this picture from last year.
