There's no keikis so far but I'll keep you in mind. I think I got lucky with this particular plant. It puts out huge flower spikes and the flowers can last for months.

It really is gorgeous though. I mean I love 'isabella', I have 3, but wow the raspberry red on this one just keeps my attention. I think its my collector instinct at work! Lol

This vanda is stunning! I've never seen it before.

Had a look at your blog by the way and see that you have lots of amazing vandas.

Vanda jennae is a difficult one to come across depending on the country you reside in.

If you're in Asia, you have a greater chance of coming across Vanda jennae. Even then, it's not like they're all that common in the trade.

In the US, there are times when you'd be lucky if you can even find Vanda species, let alone Vanda jennae. Many people here grow far more Vanda hybrids than their species counterparts.

There's also the thing where Vanda jennae is a relatively somewhat recent discovery that made it into the hobby.

As to my favorite Vanda that's in my collection...

I have such a hard time choosing one. I love them all. But if I had to absolutely choose one, it's gotta be Vanda pumila.

Or if you don't count Vanda pumila as a true Vanda, (because Vanda pumila is also known as Trudelia pumila), then I'd have to say Vanda roeblingiana.

I have a vanda manuvandee that has not yet bloomed (only had it for a month) but I love both the blue and the red!

My favorite vanda is usually whatever happens to be blooming. Right now V. tessellata and V. coerulea are getting ready to bloom--the V. coerulea for the second time in four months, which gives it a bit of an edge as far as my private voting goes.

Philippe, why don't you be a true friend and send one of those V. jennae plants to me, please. If you label it as a new type of genetically modified corn plant, I don't think our customs people will be any wiser.
