Bovornara Jairak Blue
Bovornara (Arachnis × Ascocentrum × Rhynchostylis × Vanda)
I grow this like my other Mokara on vase culture.
Warm to intermediate temps with high humidity on south facing window.
The flowers are blue-violet to the naked eye; but on the pictures it comes out light lavender....This gave me blooms at 4 and a half inches on its first flowering cycle; maybe it will get bigger and flatter next time around.
This is an import from a Thailand hybrider, I got this as a 3 year old seedling a couple of years ago.
Year round weekly weakly Algoflash fertilizer and seaweed mix.

The clay pellets or LECA is used in S/H method...I have posted the golden Mokara in my past thread with clay pellets wicking in 3/4 water....vase culture is when you let the water evaporate/condense inside the vase as the roots capture the humidity.

I know...but for presentation I'm used to you always being neat with your setups.

The archanis/aranda is certainly the dominant specie in this cross for sure. No sign of branching or higher flower count alas renanthera & ascocentrum, but its really interesting to imagine how it will change as it matures and what sort of traits it will develop.
