Default Vanda merrillii var rotorii
Vanda merrillii var. rotorii, the single colored variety of this species of the Philippines. The 4 to 5 cm red/burgundy-coloured flowers are much darker than on the type species. Fragrance is much stronger too, nearly heady. Plants are big size Vandas and can flower several times a year.

That is a gorgeous flower. I love the colors and texture. The form is a classic Vanda specie.
