Yours will have a darker purple; what in the orchid world they consider a black. The spotting may vary a bit, but i'd be happy with it. I love the Black vandas; I'm dying to get my hands on Robert's Delight 'Black'.

I don't know if i can part ways with her; she's my baby It actually has a dbl spike. Should be a spectacular show if both spikes bloom!

Haha yea I was kidding, yours is a nice big blooming size and mines only a NFS.
Also we can't get any plants into Aus without a licence.

PS I have a really good e-booklet about different vanda characteristics. I noticed on another thread you were asking about the uneven leaf tips on vandas that look like they have been eaten.

Yea, what the heck is the deal with that!? I mean I haven't seen it affect my orchid growth but still.

Oh and I need a license too..but for bringing in 1 n 2 orchids when I travel I just take a chance and pack them.

Yes! It's really Interesting, and a good way to look for plants with specifics that you want, like big blooms on long spikes, certain colors etc
