Default V. JVB x Ascda Butterfly

Such a lovely blooming vanda. The colours vary on each bloom; have alot of pinky orange hues as well. This is a very young Vanda and yet it has a double spike and so many blooms on a spike; 10 to be exact. So this will prove to be a prolific bloomer as it gets older. My friend who has been growing Vandas for over 20 years sold it to me; she also picked it bc she said its unusually powerful bloomer for such a young plant. Enjoy

It most certainly is semi-terete. you should know by now that I love to do beds with them all around my huge yard space. The exciting part is that this is a young plant and is already giving dbl spikes with 10 flowers on a spike! Another thing is how unique the flowers are each time they bloom they vary in tones. They start with one colour & end with a really bright orange yellow.
I got two others along with this one that have spike that are far along, so I will post those eventually.

I just bought one of these in spike from RF Orchids in Homestead, FL over the weekend. Looking forward to seeing if I can get similar looking flowers on mine.

It really is a lovely cross. I am thinking of buying another one from my friend & grower. They all vary in colour even though they are same cross. This same one in this picture has a a new dbl spike and they are coming up quickly; ironically they previous blooms are still going strong. My friend/grower really recommended well when she picked this specific young vanda for me.
I don't know if I mentioned that the blooms are about 4 inches which is really a good size and you can't miss it; they truly stand out; the bigger and more mature the plant he more so.
