This is the first Vanda in my collection, courtesy of the orchid show I went to last weekend. I bought it before the buds opened and got a pretty good deal compared to most of the other Vandas they were selling. It has 5 flowers on the spike, two haven't opened just yet as of now.

I live in Canada and I grow vandas fine. The varieties that are available these days will bloom very easily.

Thankfully we have nearly perfect year-round weather for them here. Although this morning it was 35F outside and I had to get everything inside. Same goes for tomorrow morning.

It is a beautiful vanda. I have a Lumpini red that was given to me by an orchid grower, which should be a similar colour.

My plant rebloomed for the first time the other day, and it produced more flowers than last time.
