I have relatively recently gotten hold of V. lamellata var. boxalii and it is now in a vase where it looks happy. These species are available if one knows where to look in Europe As for the species hybrids thing, i have to say that I do grow both with equal passion. In hybrids I prefer coerulea hybrids to Sanderiana ones (more exciting colours and easier to bloom).
