Ryan....you can never go wrong with Vandacious orchids in your environment ....I know you have the dry elevation characteristics of your grow zone atmosphere but it is corrected by your own instinct in growing orchids....I specifically like the experimental terchniques you try in culture and care.

I did not notice this was spiking so the flowers opened outside the fire escape and I completely forgot to put it indoors to make it open its blooms....some bugs must have sucked on the flower buds and didn't make it open flatter and bigger as the former cycle; I am lucky it didn't blast on me....yet the colors are still vividly golden with a touch of pink....
