First time bloomer!
Don't know if I'm in the correct site for this orchid...But it looks like a vanda to me. Bought it at Lowes over three yrs. ago, and this is the first time it has bloomed. BettyE

It does have a slight spicy fragrance; only seems to be so when the sun is out. And this is the first day it's been sunny since it started to bloom. Thanks for all the wonderful compliments, everyone.....BettyE

Great bloom ! Congrats.
The plant definitely looks like a Rhynchostylis gigantea but the flowers seem big, do you know if that is a cross ?
