Default Vanda denisoniana

Nice yellow Vanda species, and like Vanda coerulea, denisoniana is also a cool grower. I find its perfume nothing more, nothing less than incredible! Yesterday night, at our Orchid Society meeting, everybody wanted to smell it a little! My plant is still small, but the flowers are flat and round. The other thing I like is that, unlike the regular type, the flowers are almost pure golden yellow.

Kim, I swear I'd like to describe it, but I can't do it even in my mother tongue... Sorry!

Gorgeous yellow!
Is the scent floral? or citrus? or spicy?

None of these, Dorothy! Some describe it as being similar to vanilla, but I guess these people are guessing... or don't know how vanilla smells... It is far from vanilla! I really can't say what it is, but I know it is a wonder!

When you say cool grower, what temps are you talking about? I believe there are quite a few folks here that would be interested if it could adapt to thier particular environment.

Great blooms. I also like this one, but it is still a quite high-priced vanda specis here.
