Very cool flowers. I miss mine--killed it by pushing the envelope a little too far when I tried to see how readily it would adjust to cooler winter temperatures. Maybe I'll get another and leave it hanging in the shower next to the window (and not press my luck again). Congratulations on the lovely blooms.
This kind of orchid plant have never experienced winter or frost=the lowest temperature you can expose it to is 50F....if exposed below 40 overnight when day comes it gets thawed and turn to mush or the top leaves discolor and turn dry....
In its natural habitat this kind of Vanda grows in full sun near the sea on cliffs or coastal beach forests on branches and tree trunks.
