First time bloomer. This is a very young cross that sent up a very strong spike with about 8 buds i believe. Just wanted to take a pic of this gorgeous and strong young plant!
More pics of all blooms open to come in a day or two.

For a first flowering it shows it has one heck of a future.

Trust me I cant wait to see the next spike after this one. All but two are open now. I will get a wider shot of all of them in the coming day!

As promised here it is in full bloom.

Found out some interesting info thru Orchidwiz about this cross:
1. It has heavy influence of Sanderiana, followed by V. Dearei & V. Coerulea.
This certainly explains why the petals & sepals look they way they do. I imagine the older this new cross gets the more we will see the traits show up in this plant.
2. It also has traces of Asctm. Curvifolium, V. Luzonica, and finally V. Tricolor & Merillii.

I am very excited to see the showing on the second spiking!
