I have a beautiful Mokara to share with u Bud! This is the third set of blooms and i can see the difference in each new spike as it becomes more rich in colours and more distinct in shape. I'm gonna post it and you can tell me if you can name it. Its unfortunately a NOID. It could easily be a ascocenda cross too. You be the judge.

Wow Bud! I would love to give this one a go but seeing as how my Vanda roots care becoming de activated I kind of think that maybe I should leave Vandaceous plants alone. It is a shame though as I really do like the look of this one.

This gets flushed every other week and fertilizer with Algoflash alternated with seaweed mix.
I only got one flower this time that has a fragrant smell of anise and blackberries and since it is just a single bloom= it is bigger, flatter and vivid dark red color.

This is the mother plant with two keikis....the smallest keiki I separated and put on S/H that is now in single bloom
I don't know why it is Bud that I am more drawn to the beautiful shape of the leaves rather than the bloom. I find it very relaxing on the eyes....there is some sort of tranquility to it like it should be in a Japanese garden.

Cristiano, The leaf formation of the brachiata is the main thing that wanted me to grow it....
*
your Mokara picture is like my Mokara Sayan x V Kultana Gold which I have posted a while ago....but the petals rounder than mine....Mokaras have a starlike form....your flower is typical Vanda form
