Haraella retrocalla
A couple of the keikis I removed and potted last fall (parent was the spring '09 project plant) - these were the oldest, biggest of the keikis, and have previously bloomed on the parent
Thanks for looking

Lucky you. My project plant is still going strong, but no sign of keikis. I'll have to look carefully at the flower, I've not noticed a purple stripe across the middle like yours has.

Beauties! my project plant died this year... I couldn't be without one so I've got myself an other one which is much smaller in size. Thanks for posting Sonya I never get tired of looking at photos of these.

Bill, I never noticed that stripe til you pointed it out! I had posted a couple times in the project thread asking if anyone else got keikis - these two started less than a year later - but don't think anyone replied that they did. Another member did say hers got keikis. I've gotten six so far, but two died after I potted them. The four remaining ones are doing well tho.

Love it Sonya. I joined just after the project for this one but have often thought I should get one. Really enjoying Nenella's on the calendar this month :-)
