My second plant died too.... I came back fromholiday and yes..the person who was looking after it managed to rot it.. last leaf fell off a couple days ago. I am definitely going to get an other one this spring/summer & am going to buy from the grower I bought my first plant for the project from as that was a lot healhtier than the second one I bought.
PS : I am moving further south.. so I'll be off line for a couple weeks. Move tomorrow and orchids all packed tonight.

Which grower was the healthy one from Nenella? So that I know where to get mine as well.

I hope your move goes smoothly!! Further south is always good, especially for the orchids!

I want this plant badly.... but my wallet might commit hara kiri if I buy any more orchids...

I'm back !

Thanks to my internet service provider who'd said 10 days ..but got it today after only 3days!!!
Move successful!! - only lost buds on a phal equestris but new spikes are emerging. Others that are in flower have not missed a beat (I made sure to wrap flowers & buds with cotton wool)

@ Camille - from orchideerare in Italy ... it's a bit of a pain ordering from him in that he does not take online payments.. but to me more than worth the hastle! I hope he stilll has some!
