You will just love this one! Here is how I grow mine...I don't know if you can see it well but it is in this little clear box, with lid, mounted on a chunk of lava rock. I had one that was very fragrant and I had some trouble growing it so I replaced it with this one that doesn't seem to have any scent at all...must buy a second one....
They do seem to love humidity. I have the rock always sitting in a bit of water so the plant it constantly wet. It seems very happy with this arrangement. The rock has some moss growing on it but I don't cover the roots.

Nice setup Leafmite! They do really love the humidity don't they?

I'm so envious!!!! I loved this species when I had it. Should have grown it mounted because I rotted the roots. oh well live and learn.

I was killing this one until I decided to try putting it on the rock and growing it in a mini terarium. It decided to grow new roots. You should give it another try.
