Six keikis in just over three years?!? I hope that happens with mine! There is always room for another Haraella.

Paul, I haven't had mine long, so I'm no expert - believe me. We'll compare notes if it's still alive next year.
Oh, today it's producing a lovely lemony scent. I'm so pleased because I know some of them don't develop a fragrance.

I'd forgotten you have 6 keikies Sonya!
If you have the time to update would be really cool to see how much your plants have developped?

Well, as an experiment with more light, I'd put one of the keiki pots (3 tiny keikis) in a sunnier window (west facing) - during a bit of early and unexpected heat, the smallest just got cooked. Another keiki was doing poorly, so I trashed it. The four remaining babies are doing fine - the oldest both have fat buds right now (both bloomed previously on the parent) . The parent has a still tiny spike. I also tried some different media and pots. Some in Sphagnum and clay or net pots, a couple in chc in a net pot. I'm liking the chc, tho dries quickly in the net pot, so I will probably use either clay or plastic next time instead.
Yes, there's always room for a Haraella!

Paul - I don't do anything to increase humidity for mine other than growing potted, rather than mounted - and summer days can be very dry here. I will say the low humidity did start to show with the keikis and as the parent grew getting new roots from higher up on the plant - couldn't keep those roots going, foliage became dehydrated looking. That is why I ended up removing the keikis and potting them, and repotting the parent deeper (the older, lower foliage had been dropped by then)

Second bud open
I think I like this flower better than the first - the purple fringe is really distinct.
Thanks for looking!

2013 buds
So, my little Haraella has survived nearly a year with me. It was getting too dry on it's little mount, so I moved it to a glass tealight holder with a bit of moss. It took off with new growth afterwards, but only one flower so far this year.
