Default Update: bud development

This little bud has gotten big quickly. There is now also a fourth spike. Very exciting! This plant doesn't seem to have missed a beat, even after being in a box for a week and then adjusting to its new environment.

They are little blooming machines once they get going. I stop feeding and slow down on the watering every once in a while to let it rest itself.

Thanks for the tip Bill. I'm only watering at the moment as I was trying to get it to take it easy. Based on what you've said though, I'll ease up on the water as well once it's bloomed once or twice. I really want to see those little blooms first!

First bloom. I'm not sure if it's meant to open or flatten more than this? I love the little frill on the lip - it's not plain yellow like I've seen on others.

It should open up more as it matures.

Looks awesome! WTG!

Very Cool! I love these minatures with their cute 'faces', their fragrance and (last but not least) as said above once they start flowering, they don't seem to want to stop. Definitely one of my favourite plants!
My dream is to have a bunch of them on a mount... :cloud 9:
Thanks for posting I never get tired of seing these!

Thanks Nenella! I know what you mean - I've seen pictures of groups of Haraellas mounted and they look fabulous! Definitely a goal.
