Default Vanda Paki

I picked this one up at Santa Barbara orchid estate. They said they grow it cool. I know most Vandas like it hot and humid. Has anyone tried this hybrid before?
Bonus, it has a faint fragrance in the morning.

Thanks
Andrew

Beautiful Vanda....I like the colors and form; from the dots on the petals and the lip shape and texture....
I have this plant but I think it is a tad smaller than yours....I am glad to see what flowers it will give me.....
I grow it just like my Vanda coerulea on the cooler side; meaning most of my Vandas cant go below 60F in the winter....this plant can go 45F in winter and wont budge....but I dont stress them so....coerulea and Paki gets a constant 80F in the day and 60F at night....

Bud: thanks. That is good to know that it can take cool. Will try outside this season. Winter nights hover around 50F

that is great....you can definitely let it outside under a shade your grow zone atmosphere has humidity....but make sure it doesnt get to feel frost this winter....put it indoors if the temperatures get below 40F

It's a primary cross of cristata and tricolor, so I'd never let 'em go below the mid-50's at night.
Yeah, they can "tolerate" lower, but it can slow them down.

Did SBOE define "cold" for you?
