Hey Bud, those she has there in the pictures are semi-terete leaf vandas, which is otherwise known as the 'sun vanda'; they absolutely love direct sun and high humidity in the days. I have a bunch of them used to landscape my entire property

Yes, I have heard about these kind of semi-terete Vandas used as hedges...and they trim it annually with electric saws...heh
You guys are just lucky to have warm weather all year round....

These are beautiful pictures of very healthy orchids.
I lived in the Philippines for 3 years back in the early 60s. Beautiful country, wonderful people. My sadness now is I was not into orchids back then. My loss! I'm happy you found us to post these pictures.
