I finally done it! Vanda Pachara Delight in bloom
I finally rebloomed my first Vanda. I have to say Vase Culture really works. When I picked this little one up last Fall it gave me 5 blooms. Now after a few months growing in Vase Culture the bloom count has doubled. Not all are open yet but they are getting there.

Pachara Delight is one of my favorites. It's a very reliable bloomer and a strong growing plant. The dark color is wonderful also. I'm impressed that you got such a great flower spike with vase culture. I've never tried vase culture but your results prove that it works. Good growing and congratulations on a beautiful vanda.

Thanks all!
It is still a small plant for a Vanda at only 18" tall.

Lovely plant. I have just got my first Vanda and I am growing it in a vase also. I hope my blooms as impressively as yours.

Thanks Joann!
Susie, I wish you well with yours. This is not my first Vanda. I killed the first three over the years. This is the first true Vanda that I have rebloomed. In a few weeks I be posting bloom shots of a V. tessellata seedling first blooms. It was the first Vanda that I started in Vase Culture and lead me to get others since it grew so well. I have had it for 1.5 years and at the moment it has two spikes forming.
