sedirea japonica x Doritis ( Nagorankouhai)
I purchased this Sedirea Japonica x Doritis (Nagorankouhai) from Seed Engie, I was hoping it would be one that contained more red in the flower but not so lucky. The plant is slightly larger than a normal Sedirea and the flowers are a little bigger too,one good thing larger flower bigger fragrance.
Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Nice flowering but I can't see any Doritis in the flower or plant at all. Looks like a straight Sedirea japonica.

very nice. Sedireas are some of my favorite orchids. that cross is registered as Doredirea Memoria Arthur Freed. Nagorankouhai is not its name, it's a note saying that it's a hybrid of Sedirea japonica.

I agree, it's just a Sedirea japonica.

Ditto - looks exclusively SJ to me too!
I wondered when I saw the thread what a doritis crossed with one would look like? Guess I'm still wondering?????

Really nice blooms! But like the others, I don't see any Doritis influence in it. It looks like a standard Sedirea.

Isn't the fragrance just divine? Whatever it is...it's really pretty, Mike.
