Vandas in Glass Vases

i have had my vanda since february... it was entirely in a vase at first but it got tiny spots of sunburn, so i lifted it above the vase, cleaned the roots (very little algea and rot), so that the roots are now still in there. i give some water every other day and soak it with fertilizer for half an hour at least once a week. since then it has put on a bunch of new roots, some are almost as thick as my fingers, and a few new leaves (no spikes though)... seems happy
