I just googled images... Wow! It is beautiful and goes on my list too. There is also Vasco Vinita Blue, that Tucker from this board has. I really like that one too.
Thank you for the suggestion, Vanda_lover.

You're welcome. I sure wish I had the room to start a collection of blues. I want a red vasco, like the one I lost but hopefully older. They're really hard to get here.

Does it have to be vasco? Last April at our local show I saw nice red ascocenda:

And then seller who brought it, had lots of them for sale in their booth:

I came back with V.Robert's Delight that day .

That is a beauty and they are easier to get, but don't bloom as much.

You mean vascostylis blooms more times per year than ascocenda, right?

From what I understand, vasco can bloom up to 5 times per year. I suppose that some hybrids are better than others, though. Pine River are supposed to be good

I also have my Vanda Robert's delight 'red' growing in a glass vase for 8 months now. When I bought it it was in flower. I keep looking for a new spike, but nothing, it's very slow growing.
I have no other options for growing it since the climate here is very hot and dry and needs watering and misting all the time. I am thinking of potting it up in large bark.
