Ascocendas usually bloom more often than vandas but usually have slightly smaller flowers. V. Pachara Delight is an exception, it will bloom two or three times a year. Vascostylis is another vandacous orchid that can bloom often and usually has even smaller flowers. Vandacous orchids are high maitenance and need to be watered almost daily. Here are the frequent bloomers that I have experience with.

Vascostylis Pine Rivers - This is my most frequent bloomer. Usually four times a year. The variety I have is called 'Fushia Delight".

Ascocenda Suksumran Sunlight- This is a wonderful orange vanda that blooms often and the spikes are held high. I really like this one. It can bloom 3 to 4 times a year.

Ascocenda Princess Mikasa - Another frequent bloomer that comes in white, pink, bluish and indigo. I have indigo and I love it. Wonderful color.

Vascostylis Viboon Velvet - Another very frequent bloomer, often 4 times a year. White with a bluish purple lip. I haven't had this one very long.

Ascocenda Macarena Iglesias - Usually blooms three times a year. It has thick, long lasting flowers and it comes in a variety of colors. The flowers are bigger than most ascocendas. Mine is a raspberry color. It's a very showy orchid.

Vascostylis Vinita Blue - Beautiful bluish color and a frequent bloomer with smaller flowers.

Here's Ascda. Fat Tuesday, Ascda. Pine Rivers 'Fushia Delight and Ascda. Suksumran Sunlight.

Ascda. Macarena Iglesias

it is better to get an established ready to bloom big vanda plant than a seedling that would take 4 years to bloom...so many things might happen you just dont know...
but Pachara Delight blooms beautifully for me ... like Tucker I also have Vascostylis Viboon Velvet that keeps on blooming whenever it can every 4 months...it is also delishiously fragrant

I concur on the Pachara delight. Mine is almost constantly in spike/bloom.

Also the Ascda Suksamran sunlight is constantly spiking/blooming for me.

If you shop at RF, he can tell you which ones bloom 5x a year. That's what I did

In addition, Vanda JVB is also known as very frequent bloomer. A healthy and well grown one will send two to three spikes at a time every two or three months. Almost non-resting vanda.

I have Vanda Kultana Fragrance here that blooms up to 5 times a year for about a month with 4 or more flowers even with a poorly oriented window! A plus, she smells of lilac!

here she is;

you might want to venture on Mokara plants...these are vandacious and quite sturdy. They have striking colorful big blooms...they can gradually be weaned to direct sunlight...but they drink and feed a lot...I have them in S/H so I dont have to deal with watering and spraying a lot

Bud in your second photo where did you get both the vase and the really high bottom dish? and are they both glass? That would just do for one or two of my plants...
thanks in advance!
