My plant finally flowered after 6 years. This particular plant has 18 to 20 flowers per spike. According to the description by Dr. Tiong, it usually has 7 flowers per spike. The judges gave it a 87 points and I will try out crossing it to another plant I have in flower and also trying to cross it with Sedirea japonica or Rhy. gigantea. The genus means Large foot.

Beautiful! Congrats! I would love to see a sedirea hybrid with this species. I think it would be amazing. Keep us posted.

Wow! Congrats on getting it to flower and with all those flowers per spike! Makes the waiting well worth it.
